I have tried many video players on Mac like VLC, MKPlayer etc. When I set saturation/Brightness etc settings in a player, they won't last when I reopen the player. All the adjustments are being reset every time I close the player. Why is this happening? And is anybody have this kind of issue?

I found a solution for VLC Player.
Click on "Window" in top menu and click on "Video Effects"..
It will open saturation, brightness etc settings and make the proper adjustments accordingly.
Then, at the bottom, there will be a drop-down option set to "Default".
Here you can create a new profile and select it.
After that, check mark "Apply profile at next launch"..
Finally, restart the VLC Player and it should preserve all the video adjustments even after the VLC closes and reopens...

Have you verified that your apps are up to date? Update apps or use automatic downloads
if you use the video player in another user account, do you have the same issue? Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac
