Macbook pro m1 battery life

Should I shut down the macbook pro m1 to save battery life after I have done of my work or put it in sleep mode only?!

Sleep or shutdown MacBook Air M1 Recently I bought the MacBook Air M1 and was confused between sleep or shutdown every time I finish my work. This has been cleared in an earlier question but in the answer it is mentioned that whenever possible we should put it in power mode to reduce battery usage. That means when the battery in 100% charger we should put it in power. My query is by doing so will it not affect battery life in the long term, I mean putting any electronic device in charging mode after its battery is 100% charged affects the battery and it damages it. Please clarify.

What is the good way to keep battery life for my macbook pro M1 laptop ? Is it good to keep unplugged or plugged? It's good for using the plugged.
