I have a sound/ringtone set up for messages on my iPhone. I have one friend who uses a Samsung and the ringtone does NOT sound when he messages. This is new. It always worked before. How can I fix this.

Go to the Messages app on your iPhone and on the main screen in Messages, see if there is a moon symbol to the left of the message thread from your friend. If there is, slide the friend's messages to the left and tap the bell-shaped icon.
