I've used my 2020 (base model) 13 inch MacBook pro with this monitor and everything works great.
When I switched to my 2019 16inch MacBook pro with 8gb graphics the monitor looks significantly worse and the input lag between mouse movement and cursor movement is awful.
I've tried using mouse/trackpad, displayport/hdmi, different Thunderbolt ports, restarted my computer, checked for updates. No luck.

Are both of your Mac computers running the latest macOS? Is there any software for your external display? If so, is it up to date on both Mac computers?
