Homepod won't turn on a timer or repsond to an ask to set up a reminder - it says, "iphone not available - check that it's powered on and it's software is up to date" I have an iphone 11 - this started when I got the iphone 11. Same Apple ID on both.
Ah, "this started when I got the iPhone 11". Had you previously set up the HomePod with another phone? I think it is looking for that one and you will need to Reset HomePod - Apple Support.
