iPhone 6 visual voice mail
I go to the phone app in my settings and there is nothing there to set up my visual voice mail, the Apple help says there should be a voicemail tab, but there is nothing?

Visual Voicemail is a service provided by your cellular provider. Contact them and ask if they offer the service on the plan you have.
