My current Apple ID is my work email and my recovery is my personal email. My company(a theatre) unfortunately did not survive the pandemic so I would like to change my ID to my personal (recovery) email and it won’t let me. I have another little used email address to use as new recovery but I can’t figure this out. Thank you

You can easily change the email account tied to your AppleID. It is never a good idea to use a work email as AppleID. If you suddenly don't have access to your email account it can create vexing problems.
