Can't get accept a shared album invitation on my iMac.

I have clicked accept on a shared album and the albums are coming in on my phone and ipad but not my iMac. I see the invitation and I click accept but it doesn't work. I have checked my settings on my iMac and shared albums is checked. I don't know what to do.

iMac 21.5″ 4K, macOS 10.13

shared albums not updating after iOS upgrade and migration to newer machine I recently migrated my files from a old mac mini running the last iOS to a iMac running Ventura. All my previously "Shared Albums" reappeared, but they are not updating with new additions from family members. What did I do wrong?

I was invited to subscribe to a Shared Album - it appears on iPhone but not on my Mac Hi, I was invited by a family member to subscribe to a shared album and I accepted the invite on my iPhone. The shared album is visible on my iPhone. However, I expected to also be able to see the Shared Album on my iMac, but it does not appear there. I do have Shared Albums turned on and can see other older shared albums, just not the one that I joined yesterday on my iPhone. Any ideas? Thanks.

Have you set up photo library and its preferences and designated system photo library in Mac see these articles
