iPhone 6s mic not working when on speakerphone

People cannt hear me when I am on speakerphone. I tried recording videos on both front and rear cams, as suggested in apple support page. They come out with perfect voice. What to do now?

iPhone 8 microphone question My voice is too quiet to hear when recording voice memos and during phone calls in speakerphone. During phone calls not using speakerphone people can hear me just fine. The audio on video recordings from both front and back are fine too. What is going on?

I tried the video recording method.. sound is clear in both modes. So what is the real problem?
