Still no SIM card detected on ipad

I took SIM card out and put it back in- still no SIM card detected

iPad, iOS 9

Are you using a DataSIM - with a current AirTime contract with a Cellular provider?

You should note that the majority of ‘phone SIM cards will not work with iPad - or must be explicitly enable to work with iPad by the Cellular provider.
