I have an Apple 5C. Software updated to IOS 10.3.3. Says it is up to date, but many current apps in App Store say I need IOS 12.0 or higher.?

How can I update from IOS 10.3.3 to IOS 12.0 or higher, on my Apple 5C.

iPhone 5c, iOS 10
