I received a memo that my iCloud space of 200GB is almost full. Is that per month or total space? I upgraded to 200GB at 2.99 a month. I can see that my photos take up all the space.... should I not have my photos synced to other devices?

iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 14

iCloud storage is billed monthly. The total amount of storage does not increase each month -- it is similar to renting physical storage space or renting an apartment where you pay monthly but the space doesn't get larger.
