Installing Office 365 on an old iMac

I am trying to install Office 365 on my recently refurbished iMac. Apparently Office 365 requires OS version 14.0 or higher, but I have 10.13.6 High Sierra and my iMac reports that no upgrades are available. Any thoughts? Thanks!

What iMac sub-model? If it is 2012 or later, it will run Mojave and Catalina. if 2011 or older, it is limited to 10.13 and you will not be able to use Office.


System upgrades for old OS version are now hidden from an Appl Store search, but the app store links to Mojave and Catalina are in this Apple support article:
