I am being asked to log into messages on my macbook pro. Once I log in it stays logged in for 10 seconds then logs me out. I have checked to make sure my Apple ID and password are correct and they are. I went through the troubleshooting article https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204408 and none of these solutions solved my issue sadly.

Since the issue persists while in safe mode, it would be best to reinstall the macOS software using macOS Recovery. First, make sure your Mac is backed up. This article has information on how to use Time Machine to back up your Mac:

I went ahead and booted up my Mac in safe mode and that did not solve my problem. The same issue once again occurred.
