iMovie 10.2.2 frame rate change

Since the latest update (or possibly earlier) I'm unable to change a projects frame rate from 60 to 30fps in the usual way; starting a project with a 30fps clip. Is there another method with 10.2.2 or is this a bug . . . or is it just me?

How do I set the frames per secondframe rate (FPS) for a project in iMovie 10.2.3? How do I set the frame rate for an iMovie project? Especially the frame rate for the project itself as well as my export? It's infuriatingly difficult to find any settings in this project, it seems to be getting worse and worse with every iteration. I drag and drop in 30 fps clips but when I "share to file" (why isn't this called export as common sense would dictate) I get 29.97 fps. I want to work 100% in 30 fps and fix it to this. I never want to see 29.97 for any reason. I can't fix it. Is there even a way? All instructions online are either outdated or don't work. iMovie versio: 10.2.3 macOS: 11.3.1 (20E241)

iMovie Project FPS Reverted I'm currently editing a video in iMovie that's at 60fps. The playback preview was at 60fps, I checked the export settings and they said it was 60fps, everything was working just fine, but the next day I checked the export settings again and the 60fps option was gone, and the playback has been converted to around 30fps. I've tried to figure out what's going on, but I can't seem to find any solution on the internet specific to my situation. I've even tried pasting a 60fps clip at the beginning of the timeline, but it's automatically converted to 30fps. I've also tried creating whole new projects, but that doesn't seem to work either. I honestly don't know if this is a glitch or a bug, or if I might've made a mistake somewhere along the line. I feel kind of dumb, like there's something really simple that I'm overlooking, but does anyone know what's going on, and perhaps has a solution? Thanks.
