Apple Watch cellular

Trying to test calling out from a cellular Apple Watch six. Putting the iPhone 12 Pro in airplane mode. When trying to call out watch says “call failed.” Help!

Cellular Apple Watch not calling Hi Everyone, ive recently purchased an Apple Watch 7 and it doesn’t seem to be receiving cellular data despite the watch being the cellular kind. It won’t make or receive calls when my phone isn’t around, it doesn’t use data when phone isn’t round, any advice? im somewhat regretting the purchase as it seems so expensive considering it doesn’t do what it claims.
