MacBook Pro battery problem

My 13" MacBook Pros battery health is 87.9 but I bought it 5 months ago, Is it normal? or Do I have a problem? I usually use it plugged in.

battery circle count is: 54

Have I done any wrong thing while using?

pls, I need help.

If your MacBook Pro has an Intel processor, (before the silicon M1 chip)

there's info on battery health management

( which can be turned on or off with different effects)

I'm guessing you purchased a third party battery. The quality of third party Lithium-ion batteries is extremely poor even when purchased from a reputable vendor such as OWC. If so, then contact the manufacturer or vendor to see if the battery is still under warranty.


Unfortunately if you had an official Apple battery repair, then the battery only had a 90 day warranty.


You can try performing an SMC Reset, but I doubt it will help for your issue.


The battery appears to be wearing out quite quickly.
