How can I change the desktop picture on my MacBook Pro?

How can I delete the HIDEOUS desktop picture called Big Sur Graphic Day and Big Sur Graphic Night on my MacBook Pro? I've spent hours trying to get rid of it. PLEASE HELP.

Desktop photo How do I change desktop photo when MAC first comes not? Not the desktop screen saver. I searched under help and it shows the following. I have Catalina but not chance to see Dynamic or change photo.

delete photo from desktop on monterey A few days ago, when my MacBook Pro with Monterey 12.2.1 on it added a picture that was open at the time in preview to the three photos that change every 30 minutes. I went to System preferences/Desktop & screen saver to delete it, and the "-" option is grayed out. I've tried highlighting and dragging to trash, delete key, etc. There are no options right-click options. I have tried shut down and open, etc. How do I delete that extra picture (actually a graph) that I don't want to see?

I agree it is ugly. In fact a co-worker just the other day said the same thing to me.
