My iPhone XS bottom microphone is weak.
Testing the microphone using voice memos suggests that the mic is fine. However, during calls (WhatsApp etc. in/out audio calls, and call to the handset’s phone number) the microphone is poor when compared to my iPhone11.
It appears that the audio quality of the Xs is inferior.
Is there a fix

Obviously FULL research was done prior to posting here, so thanks all the same, but got that t-shirt!
It appears to be an Xs hardware fault - tap the phone somewhere and hey-presto...normal service resumed. It’s a real nuisance.
So much so, that I’ve traded it in for an iphone11. Problem solved!
