Input Monitoring Dropping Out

I'm having a problem with my input monitoring dropping out while recording vocals.

When I start a new session in logic, I set up my audio track and for a minute all is working and I can hear myself in my headphones fine.

Then suddenly the signal drops and I can no longer hear myself. This happens when recording and not recording. I've attached a screenshot of my audio preferences in logic. I also have 'Direct Monitor' on my Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 interface switched off.

I'm version 10.3.2 version of Logic. I've searched all the forums and can't find a solution so any help would be great
