Telephoto does not work correctly on iPhone 12 pro max

Hey guys! I am facing a serious problem with the telephoto lens of my iPhone 12 pro max that is not focusing properly. sometimes it focuses on the subject but loses focus right away on objects, scenery or people that are far away, but it focuses normally when I approach the subject to be photographed. Even the problem is affecting the portrait mode using this 2.5x lens. In the other lenses, I'm not facing any problems, just the telephoto. I have already contacted support via chat and in the diagnosis did not point out hardware problems. Is it really a software problem? is anyone else experiencing the problem?
