Fix disabled iphone6s

Recently upgraded to iphoneSE and wanted to use old phone for my wife. I inserted new Verizon SIM card and when I powered up it asked for a 6 digit passcode, while previously it had only a 4 digit code. What gives?

Hello,

Hmm, I guess that the best option is to set it up as a new phone. Hopefully, it shouldn't matter too much if you are using it as a new phone for your wife. See this:

If you forgot the passcode on your iPhone, or your iPhone is disabled - Apple Support
