How to delete photos from an old mac but not from newer models

I am trading in an iMac and want to remove all photos from it but not remove the photos on other iMac's in the network?

If you are trading it in, I would first completely log out of iCloud on that device, deactivate Find My Mac on it (if it is activated), deauthorize it for iTunes or Music, and then completely erase/reformat the disk (make a backup first if you don't already have that) and install a vanilla MacOS with nothing else.
