how to insert an embedded google map into pages document

You can drag and drop a screenshot of that Google Map, or a PDF of it, but you cannot otherwise embed a Google map because Pages does not support the underlying HTML/CSS constructs to do so as you would on a website.

You can insert a link to the Google Map:

Which will give you a very clunky clickable link:

But you can't embed the map into your Pages document.
