Open Apple Maps from search results

Does anybody know how to open Apple Maps from Safari internet search? I enter a search, view the results, and there is an Apple Maps thumbnail in the results. I can select “Expand Map”, but there is basically no map functionality. Is there a way to select “Open in Apple Maps”? If not, this needs to be added, and seems like a real obvious feature.

Apple doesn’t routinely monitor the discussions. These are mostly user to user discussions.

If you want to, you can send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem or a suggestion for change. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem/suggested change solved sooner. Pick the closest topic you can find.
