How to disable Hardware Acceleration on Safari?

How do I disable hardware acceleration for

Safari because every time I try to watch YouTube or Netflix the screen will flash on occasion, this happened on Google Chrome and disabling Hardware Acceleration always fixed it but I can’t find the option anywhere in Safari or in settings.

We understand you'd like to Change Websites preferences in Safari on Mac and recommend looking into the webGL feature to see if that helps with the flashing.
