What is your model Apple TV? Identify your Apple TV model - Apple Support

Assuming a current model with up-to-date software, the password is set in

Settings﹥AirPlay and HomeKit﹥AirPlay﹥On

Settings﹥AirPlay and HomeKit﹥Allow Access﹥Require Password﹥On

Settings﹥AirPlay and HomeKit﹥Allow Access﹥Password﹥••••••

You can activate or de-activate this requirement, and set a new password. The default is <undefined>, represented by six dots. Turning the password requirement off and on, will not revert to a previous password, but to <undefined> again. Easy-to-guess passwords are not allowed here.
