How can we unlock his phone without a computer?

If you had attempted unlocking multiple times with incorrect Lock Screen passcode, or if a message says that your device is disabled, learn what you need.


You need a computer to follow these steps. If you don't have a computer, borrow one from a friend.

He is in a covid ward, there is no way to get a computer. He is confused and that is why this happened. Why would apple make such a crazy system, this is his only way to communicate with us. He has no computer there except an iPad mini where the phone is not backed up and he is too confused to figure it out anyway. I will never use a passcode on any of my phone again and will disable his and mine immediately when I can.
