Missing files in Apple Music library on Mac

I recently moved my Apple Music library to a new external drive and all of the files show that they are missing. I have already changed the location of the media folder to where the files are at on the hard drive but they still show as missing. I was able to locate some files manually but I have over 98,000 files. It tried to find more automatically but only a little over 100 were found using that feature. I still have the library on an older drive and it works fine. I have moved my entire library in the past with no issues but that was when it was still iTunes. I am now running Big Sur. I would appreciate any help!
