Apple news has gone stupid. How can I reboot, reset or fix this app?

To reset the Apple News app, you can quit it (News in the top left > Quit). If the app is frozen, you can force quit by Apple Menu (in the top left) > Force Quit > News.

You can also restart the Mac altogether. Apple Menu > Restart
