Internet connectivity

I have a MacBook 2017 and I can’t get safari to work, the internet is connected but no web pages will open. Can anyone help?

When did this start? Has anything been changed? Are you able to access the internet using another browser to confirm that your internet really is connected and working? Try restarting the computer in Safe Mode. (Press Shift key at startup.) This often fixes things. Be patient, it may take up to ten minutes. See if it still happens. Then restart normally and see what happens.
