I can send I messages to some people but not all. Why?
I can I -message most people but not others. Number not registered is what it says. How do I do this?

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you're having trouble sending messages to some contacts, and you're seeing a message about the number not being registered. We are happy to share information that may help.
It looks like you may have already tried the steps here: If you can't send or receive messages on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
If you've tried those steps and are still seeing the same message, you may want to consider these steps as well:
-Check to see if the contacts have recently switched to a non-Apple phone. You can find more information here: Deregister iMessage on your iPhone or online.
-Check to see if those contacts have made any changes, such as their carrier or phone number.
-Also, you may want to delete the contacts and add them back again.
