Block a website?

I’m struggling with getting my son to focus during virtual school. He is frequently on Youtube during class, is there a way to temporarily block a website? Like for a few hours even so that at least he isn’t distracted by it in the day.

I'm a teacher and my school district has blocked us from changing parental controls from the ipad settings but I still want to block certain youtube searches etc. on my students' ipads without setting up guided access on 25 ipads. Parental controls I need to be able to block the search bar (when you swipe the Home Screen down). My child cannot use the internet because I’ve blocked it with parental controls. I found out the other day that the search bar lets her look at whatever she wants. What’s the point of parental controls?!

Parental control on chrome browser I want to have parental control over chrome browser. From screen time, I can block a specific website that kids have access to as long as it’s from safari but you can’t do that for chrome. I know I can block entire chrome browser app but kids need chrome for school. So I want to restrict certain websites (like sports & games…) on chrome while allowing school related websites like canvas. I know some parents asked this before but does anyone know how to do it?

Hello MJAz20,

follow these steps

Prevent web content

Go to Settings > Screen Time.
Tap Content & Privacy Restrictions and enter your Screen Time passcode.
Tap Content Restrictions, then tap Web Content.
Choose Unrestricted Access, Limit Adult Websites, or Allowed Websites Only.
