Apple ID

My Apple ID is associated with an email address I no longer have. Is there a way I can delete the address that is associated with my Apple ID account and add a new email address that I currently use?

Change your Apple ID - https://support.apple.com/HT202667 - "Follow these steps to change the email address that you use as your Apple ID." Plus special instructions if your Apple ID ends with @icloud.com, @me.com, or @mac.com. You may also wish to turn off "Find My" before changing information and turn it on again afterward.


What to do after [or before] you change your Apple ID email address or password - https://support.apple.com/HT204071 - "After you change your Apple ID email address or password, you might need to update your sign-in information with any Apple services you're using" including "Find My".


To deal with Find My:


Set up Find My iPhone on all of your devices [iOS12 and earlier, Macs with Mojave or earlier] - https://support.apple.com/HT205362

Home screen > Settings > [your Apple ID] > iCloud > Find My > turn on/off


Set up Find My on your iPhone, Mac, AirPods, or other devices [iOS 13 or later, Macs with Catalina or later] - https://support.apple.com/HT210400

Home screen > Settings> Name > Find My > on/off
