searching apple music from itunes

I have subscribed to apple music. I used to be able to search for songs in Itunes, and select my library, or apple music. When I select apple music, I just get a dark screen and no results...?

OK. Try reinstalling iTunes 12.8.2.3 over your current installation. Your library should be unaffected, but you should have that backed up anyway.

What version of iTunes on what version of macOS? Have you tried going into Preferences > Advanced and using Reset Cache?

12.8.2.3 is the version of iTunes

masOS is High Sierra version 10.13.6

I have not tried clearing the cache, but will do that, thanks!
