Zoom and my iPad

I teach on Zoom on my iMac and use my iPad as a tablet (using Noteability). Today during class Zoom did not offer any connections to my iPad. I have searched online about this problem, and it seems to be an unsolved issue (I found one person with the same problem and the same frustration). While I believe this is a Zoom settings problem, I am posting here hoping some Mac guru has encountered the same, and found a solution. Thanks in advance.

I found a solution to this problem. It is a setting in Zoom - disabling desktop/screen share for users caused this problem. This is a bug in Zoom.
