Just connected a new router. First time we did this. WiFi got up & running. I checked settings & had a message—“weak message.” Suggestion to use WPA2(AES) or WPA2(AES) or WPA3. What does this mean & where do I find this information to secure the WiFi
You need to read the manual for the router to learn how to change the encryption setting to WPA2(AES), WPA2(Personal) or WPA2(AES)/WPA3. It’s probably defaulted to WPA/WPA2(AES), which is not as secure.
It is a setting on your router.
Search your router model and find the instructions to change it.
New router with WiFi connection & got a notice “weak security.”
