How much Hz is the sampling rate of the Apple Watch ECG fixed at rest?

Hello, all.

I read below that sampling rate of the Apple Watch ECG cannot be changed.

I haven't seen ECG yet because I'm Japanese, so please tell me.

Hello wlix,

Thank you for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you'd like to review additional details of how the Apple Watch measures the heart rate. We can help provide you additional information.

Thank you for your reply.

But the information I need is a little different: the electrocardiogram (from ECG app, see below URL), not the heart rate.

https://support.apple.com/HT208955

For example, the electrocardiogram of general wearable devices is acquired 256 times per second, that is, at 256 Hz.

Then the devices' application calculate the ECG R-peaks' interval and converts it to bpm.

I would like to know the accuracy or resolution (Hz) of how many times per second an Apple Watch measures an electrocardiogram, such as R-peak or QRS complex.

Thank you.
