Unless you can find compatible driver software from the printer manufacturer, this is probably not going to be easy (there are some indications that this is a host-based printer, making it difficult to find or use generic drivers). I guess that you have tried any existing older drivers (if necessary, after a printing system reset).

The printer in question is not in the list in About AirPrint - Apple Support (Published Date: January 05, 2021). However, it is interesting to note that the HP LaserJet Pro M1217nfw MFP is listed in an old Apple article iOS: AirPrint 101 (HT4356, Last Modified: February 13, 2012) as a printer that supports AirPrint. A printer supporting the AirPrint technology would normally be compatible with macOS Catalina without drivers, but since this appears to be an early AirPrint model, it is quite possible that its functionality is limited. You may want to carry out tests with an iPhone/iPad, and with your Mac. iPhone/iPad).
