AirPlay Display Off on iMac

I'm using the latest macOS Big Sur on iMac (Late 2015), the AirPlay Display doesn't have any option except "Off" since Sierra or High Sierra. Do i need to buy TV to use the AirPlay Display on iMac? Since there's no option at all to change it.

There's an AirPlay device, a SmartTV with AirPlay but it's not showing, maybe I will give it a try again.

You might want to check how you set up your particular TV for AirPlay.

Is there anyway we can screen-sharing form iPhone to iMac without TV?

If by "we" you mean you and I, no, I'm just another user.
