USB-C is always charging my macbook pro from monitor

Hello,

So I have 2 monitor connected by USB-C I'm concern about the impact in long term that will bring in my laptop, because as soon I connected to the first monitor start charging and I know that PW is max 60W. I normally use 2 monitor the whole day anad my laptop is almost all the time charging or charged.

I'm worried about the battery lifecycle charge, because my battery almost never go empty and is charging all the time. I've consider by some hub or something to avoid use usb-c but before do anything I'd like to know from the community

My device is: Macbook pro "15 2018

An external power supply that provides "USB Power Delivery" (like certain displays)  can not 'force itself' on your Mac. The Voltage and Current are delivered only after your Mac requests and the charger agrees to supply power under certain controlled conditions. The computer is in control of the entire process.

Your Macintosh will never over-charge.

Thanks for the answer.

I'm worry about that sometimes my mac is doing high processing work that drains the battery even with the monitors connected, e.g today:

I connected my mac to my monitors at 9am with the battery at 10%, then at 6pm my battery was 70% but suddenly I started sharing my screen and doing other heavy stuff and at 8pm my battery was 15% with the monitors connected. I was forced to connect my charger at this point. So I'm concern the impact of this on battery long term.
