is there no way for me to sharescreen from iphone to MacBook

can i in some way do that

You can use QuickTime on the Mac to view the iPhone's screen. The iPhone needs to be connected to the Mac via USB cable.


Open the Quicktime application, and start a new recording.

Plug in the iPhone to the Mac using the cable that came with it or a Lightning to USB cable. Trust the computer if asked on the iPhone.

From the recording Screen, click on the Record down arrow to select a camera source, Your iPhone should appear as a camera and mic option.

Select your iPhone, and your screen should appear on the Mac.
