PLEASE HELP!! window position for preview in Big Sur

Can anyone tell me how to prevent Preview from opening its windows in the top left of the screen with Big Sur? It is driving my crazy having to bring the window to center of screen each and every time I open a file!

Mac mini, macOS 11.1

That's the default behavior. It can't be changed.

Correct. But with an AppleScript, one can launch Preview and then immediately move it to new screen coordinates. I did this for someone a few years back.
