links dont open app

i press on a safari link, that should redirect me to the site's app , but it doesent, how can i fix it?

Clicking on links brings me to safari instead of the downloaded apps Every time I click on some links for Facebook or Twitter, it brings me to Safari instead of the Facebook or Twitter app. This is bothering me so much as I have to log in every single time on Safari to see the content. App Store insists on opening links to apps Every time i click a link, it is taking me to app store instead of the app. So when i click open in the app store, it doesn’t even take me to the link i need it to. Just the home page. I read this has been going on for yrs. im just recently having issues with it and find it very very irritating [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Hi there gosatyrn,

We're happy to help with Safari not redirecting to the site's app. Do you have "Block Pop-ups" enabled in Safari? Go to Settings > Safari > Block Pop-ups, and switch that off if needed. Let us know if this helps you.
