How can the camera night mode be PERMANENTLY disabled / turned off?

Title says it all. I want night mode turned off by default so that every time I use the camera I don't have to turn it off again. I have all the "preserve settings" activated and yet night mode keeps turning back on. Its profoundly annoying and ruins pictures taken in low light. The only way a decent low light photo to turn out is if the camera is perfectly still, which is impossible if holding the phone in ones hand.

To reiterate, preserve camera settings DOES NOT WORK! I emphasize this as I want to be sure nobody suggests this as a remedy.

This isn't a feature you can turn off permanently. Night Mode turns on automatically when the camera sensor encounters lighting situations too low for standard photography.

You will need to turn it off when you don't want to use Night Mode.
