Mail App shows network offline e

My cellular data is on and enables mail app roaming and yet it shows offline

why?

Mail does not work on cellular but does on wifi My mail apple account on my ipad does not work in cellular mode but does when I am on any wifi, home or public. My iPhone works well on both? For your Internet connection.

Over Cellular: contact your Carrier (Cellular Service Provider). The agency who issued the SIM to you
Over WiFI: Contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider), the agency who provided the Internet Service on your Modem/Router to you

However --> Connect iPhone to the Internet - Apple Support
