I just updated to iOS 14.4 and the handoff between the iPhone and my HomePod mini seems to be working as intended, mostly. The transfer starts happening earlier, the controls pop up, etc. However I understood they were supposed to be some kind of haptics which I'm not getting. What am I missing?

OK, I finally figured it out. I had the vibration setting switched off. When I switched it on I get the haptic feedback. I'm not crazy about this design because I generally don't need vibration and I find it annoying but oh well. At least I figured it out.

What through me was that it was turned off in Accessibility not "Sounds and Haptics." I remember now that I did that because of some mysterious seemingly random vibrations from the phone.

Just a thought. I guess you could try flipping all the switches off and on again in the hope that it helps.

I have an iPhone 12 and all haptic/sounds are switched on so I don't think that's the issue.
