Stolen iPhone

My iPhone was stolen and I got a new one so I used the same Apple ID now I got a message saying it was found and the location I click on it but I couldn’t get the location of the phone it was showing me my current iPhone location and not the stolen one Why didn’t it show the location on my stolen iPhone after I got a message saying it was located
