iPad Pro sync/charge cable

I have the 2016 12.9" iPad Pro. The cable has died, and I can't find a compatible replacement. I have purchased many different brands, but none of them will do everything at the same time. The original cable allowed me to charge/sync and also use the iPad at the same time. That was both with using the charging brick, and my 2014 Mac Mini.

I'm wondering if there is a way to identify this specific cable. It is thicker than all the Apple branded cables I have purchased through Apple as well.

The original Lightning cable, as supplied by Apple, would have been 1m - however, there are also 0.5m and 2m alternatives.

Apple use a number of component manufacturers, including those that supply cables. Whilst all are manufactured to the same technical specifications, the different supplies cables may vary slightly in “cable thickness”. That said, the 2m cables are usually have heavier gauge conductors (to compensate for the higher voltage drop that would be expected to occur with linger cables), as consequence, the overall cable jacket will have a larger cross section.
