Why do I have a moon next to my texts and how do I get rid of it

We understand you have some questions about notifications in the Messages app, and we can help. When you see a moon icon next to a message conversation, this means that alerts have been muted for that contact. To remove it, you'll want to swipe left to show the alerts again.
